What is motherhood without a child? It’s only when you have a child- natural, adopted or fur, that you come face to face with the mother in you. It’s when you derive the strength to love, to the extent possible by a human heart. Am I right?

Can any gift be more precious than that?

So, to make my Mommy & Me photo session special and totally worth it, I needed a photographer who has to be amazing at what she does. So, I googled. And I found the Facebook Page of Megha Chopra Photography.

 

This is what I read, and I was sold.

“Photography for me is all about capturing true and real moments. Moments that matter, the tiny details that are always unnoticed, those expressions, that smile, and that laughter which lasts only a minute but is captured forever. My goal is to capture and preserve all your precious memories and to tell your family’s story in the most beautiful way. “

 

I stalked her.  I saw the pictures from her various mommy & me, newborn, family photo shoots and I wrote to her, asking her to do this special photo shoot for me and my Mom.

The darling that she is, she agreed and here is a blog to share with you what we did.

A little about Megha Chopra

Looking at work, I was amazed by her comfort level with my Mom and my child alike. She really waited through my daughter’s initial tantrum, her shyness only to lead her to be a fun, feisty child that she is, for the camera. Don’t believe me, look at this shot,

 

I asked her, “What makes you choose Photography? “

She said, “Photography is more than plastered smiles, it’s a partnership. I’ve learned over the years, the more the family lets their guard down and willing to be more present and transparent, the better the images are …”
