It is said, that when Ramadan begins, the gates of paradise are opened. The Holy Quran says, that with the most complete faith are those, with the most excellent character and who are most kind to their Family.
So, Ramadan is a beautiful time, to spend with your loved ones. It is a time, for togetherness, bonding with your friends, and family over prayers, conversations, fun-filled activities and of course abundant food during suhoor and iftar.
It is pretty hot here in Dubai, and getting inspired by the spirit of Ramadan, I found a perfect solution, to spend my afternoon, in the company of my parents, my husband, and my child, creating something gorgeous together, giggling sometimes, in deep focus at times, and yet giving an outlet to our inner feelings through paint, canvas and creativity, nestled safely in a large, cool, well-lit with natural light, a paradise for all art lovers, a place called “thejamjar”
I write this blog, to share with you some pictures from my Family Day at thejamjar. But first, the details about this fabulous place, my little one calls, her “Favorite Place”

Sharing with you the pictures from one of my most cherished afternoons.
My parents in their sixties, my Husband & I in our Thirties, and my little one, who is just 3, shared equal enthusiasm for something so universal. Art!!
Mind it, none of us are Artists. My father used to paint 30 years back, and the smile on his face when he touched the canvas was priceless. My husband is so not what you call, an artistic soul, but his focus in the drawing, a car on his canvas was both amusing and Aww..
My mother and my daughter were the most excited of us all. They literally poured their heart out on the canvas.
Dubai has many fabulous play areas, and shopping malls, but the feeling of togetherness and the bonding over colours, that we felt as a family, in thejamjar, cannot be expressed in words. Hence, see the pictures below. Our candid smiles and honest expressions will convey our feelings.
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into our Family fun time at thejamjar. For more pictures and videos from the day, please follow me on Facebook & Instagram.
I cannot recommend this activity enough, to do with your family. Trust me!!
Make the most of their Ramadan offer and I bet, you will message me and thank me later.
