LO brings me a dried leaf. ” Look Mumma, my shadow”
Me : ” No baby, this is not your shadow ”
LO brings me a twig, ” Look Mumma, my shadow”
Me: ” No! Shadow is intangible. You can’t hold it. It just follows you. Don’t pick up things from the street beta ”
Few minutes later..
I see her holding something in her hand, hiding from me.
Me: ” Show Mumma what’s in your hand?”
LO gave me a used and abused sticky yucky chewing gum in me hand and said, ” Mumma, it’s my shadow”
Oh what a great piece. I love it when they surprise us.
Hahaha this is so hilarious. The innocence of kids can bring so much joy to us. Thanks for sharing.
