Nutrition & Health Coach Ahlaam Ali
Love Life & the little one presents, Ahlaam Ali

Her persona, her style, her body and her mind is what Yummy-Mummy goals are made of, and so let’s dive straight into my Question & Answers with the Amazing Ahlaam Ali.

  1. Tell us a little about yourself & your mommy journey so far.

Am a crazy independent person who didn’t know what I was missing whilst I was trying not to have kids. But the minute the accident happened, it was absolutely the best thing ever.  Something switched and I went from being crazy independent to crazy dependable with a constant craving to give my baby the best of nutrition in healthy food and teach him math.  During my pregnancy, I literally just wanted him to be born asap so I could teach him math and feed him healthy mushy food – crazy or what??

  1. Tell us a bit about your venture and what was the guiding force to start it.

My son and I are both gluten and dairy intolerant and struggled a lot to find the right nutrition through healthy, gluten free, dairy free food that was not loaded with the wrong calories.  This is the reason I started Powwer Jars and Pure Vegan Love

  1. What was the last compliment you received?

The fact that my son looks like my brother J

  1. What will be your 3 top tips to help manage weight for lady’s post pregnancy?

Eat clean unprocessed food to ensure your body gets good fuel to rejuvenate itself and rebuild.  So much has been taken out of the body during pregnancy and labor that you need to bring your body back to health with good nutrition and care. You need to ensure you replenish and rejuvenate all parts of your body.

  1. What’s your daily skin-care regime?

I definitely clean my face every night without fail and tone and rehydrate.  I never ever go to bed without my skin regime whether I use make up or not.  Also, I make sure I drink a lot of water and alkalize my body with clean vegetable detox juices

  1. What is your view about fitness? How do you keep fit?

I either run or do weights at the gym.  Ideally, I prefer outdoors so during the winters I run outside and during the summers I get inside a gym and do cardio and weights.

  1. If you had to live in only 2 outfits and 1 pair of shoes for 1 full year, what would you pick?

1 track suit and a pair of golf shoes.  I like to wear my golf shoes everywhere as much as possible as they look trendy, are comfortable and empower me to be active most of the day.

  1. What’s your definition of a Yummy Mummy? Who is your Yummy Mummy crush?

Yummy Mummies are fit, healthy, well groomed, proud of themselves and of being women.  Yummy mummies respect their bodies and aim to stay fit and healthy well into their 50’s and 60’s.

My favorite Yummy Mummy is Angelina Jolie.  Fit and toned and sexy as hell!

  1. What is your favorite thing about being a mother?

The special bond that you get to share with that one person or two or however many kids you have.  There is never another bond like that on earth.  Makes you feel special and you have the chance to mould a child a person into a good responsible mature human being, who will prove to be an asset to the world and its fabulous people.
